Tuesday Tidbits...

So I am going to try and get back into this Tuesday Tidbits thing.

We will see how it goes with three little people.

. . HUNTER . .

01. After she sneezes she now says, "Oh muffin crumbs."

She got this from Strawberry Shortcake.

02. She is really into "making money" right now.

It started in SG with Papa and Nana giving her a dollar to share the last applesauce with flubs, and she gave him the whole thing.

Now she says, "If I'm good can a get some money?", or "If I pick up all my toys and listen the whole day can I make some money?"

I guess whatever works.

03. Just lately she has started acting so much older.

I know, I didn't think this was possible but I guess it is.
I can't quite put my finger on just what it is but she's different.

04. Today she put on her robe.

She normal doesn't wear hers, but I have been wearing my a lot lately so I think that is why.

She came into my room and said, "Look mom we both have our bra's on!"

Yep.

05. She has been talking about the beach a lot lately.
When her and flubs are pretending she keeps telling him..."Well we are going to the beach, pack up Buddy!"
We have been talking to her about the different places we could move, and all the fun things we could do at each place.
Hoping this will make the move a little easier for her.
I guess her and I both are hoping for Cali.

. . HUDSON . .

01. He says "deah" instead of "yeah"....we all love it and think its the cutest thing.

Just yesterday he started saying yes.

It almost makes me sad that he says's it right.

02. Now that I am "kind of" thinking of potty training, he doesn't want to do it.

Of course.

He only wants to wash his hands all of the time!

03. He is constantly copying ever thing Hunter does...to the exact word.

I think it's starting to drive her crazy, I think it's pretty funny.

04. He has become more stubborn.

He has to pick out his clothes, buckle himself, open the fridge, put on take off his own boots, jacket, pajama's you name it he has to do it!

05. He now is asking us to read to him every night.

We did this with Hunter and just kind of got off track with Flubs.

He has to read the same Cars book every night, but I love it!

. . HAYDEN . .

01. Miss babe is sick, but it is amazing to me how happy she still is.

We gave her some medicine, and well it back fired.

It made her wired and she didn't sleep the rest of the day.

02. I have had to take her blanket out of her crib because she will play with it so much now that she won't go to sleep.

Plus she has started putting it over her head, which freaks me out.

03. She has started rice cereal and is loving it.

Every night it's like she forgets how to keep the rice in her mouth until about half way through.

04. She is now will turn her head and try to follow the kids when they are running around her.

05. She has started to open her moth when I kiss her, and oh how I love it!

Four Month Check up...

I forgot my camera, so I went to the second resort...my phone (reason for the crappy pictures).

It was quite the 4 month check up for miss Hayden babe.

The entire family was able to attend.

So to say the least we had lots of helpers, and twice as many questions...most of which were from miss Hunter.

Hayden weighed in just shy of what we had guessed, 14 pounds.

I have never had a baby below the 85% for weight, so to see her in the 55% was shocking.

Sarah, the PA, said Hayden's legs and neck were really strong and that she looked fabulous!

We talked about scheduling her MRI for the dimple between her back and bum.

Sarah said she thought everything looked just fine, but that we should do it before we move and just in case.

Lovely.

Doctor Guelda also had to make a stop in...she said she could not miss seeing the babe.

I so love that they both had to come in and visit.

They both are honestly the two best doctors my kids have ever seen!!

I will truly miss them both...our family has become so close to these women.

It was extra nice having Joe there for the shots, because I absolutely hate that part.

The big kids felt really bad for miss Hayden but seemed to be over it, once she stopped crying.

Bad Dream...

The other night miss Hunter had a bad dream.
She came into our room crying.
She asked me if she should say a prayer so she wouldn't think about her bad dream anymore, and I told her that was a good idea.
She went back into her room and went back to bed.
A half hour later back out she came...
One more time she came out crying this time saying, "that He didn't hear her prayer because she was still thinking about her dream."
I said, "I know Heavenly Father did hear her prayer, but now she just needed to try and go to sleep."
She said ok and went back into her room for the third time.
The next thing I knew her light was on and the sound machine was turned off.
By this time it was 4:30 in the morning and I thought for sure she was started the day.
I got out of bed and went into her room.
She was down on her knee's saying another prayer.
I asked her if she was alright and she said, "Mom, I had to turn on the lights so He could see me praying, and I had to turn off my sound machine so He could hear my prayer."

What a sweet girl!...well most of the time.

Hayden 4 months...

YOU...

are getting to be such a chunk.

are constantly smiling...which makes me so happy.

never cry...unless we have kept you up to long...daddy likes to do this.

finally are sleeping at night for at least 10 hours...I think our little six week vacation had something to do with that.

size 2 diapers are getting a little tight.

have grown out of some of your 3-6 months clothes...the pants and shirts are to short.

are just a little tall.

like your bink, but will spit it out when you get in your crib...because your to busy smiling.

love to have your blankie by your face.

are a good sleeper on the go.

like your car seat.

had your first taste of rice cereal this week.

lock out your legs and love to stand.

we put you in the saucer for the first time a couple of days ago...I think the big kids liked it more then you.

are not a big snuggler, which makes me sad.

yesterday I actually got you to fall asleep on me, then I didn't want to move.

barely fit in your swing.

haven't been on any formula for at least a month.

are in some 6-12 month jammies.

are always stiff as a board when I nurse you...auntie Karli would say you are always.

still have a bald spot on the back of your head.

love to talk to us.

your dad loves to play with your fat rolls.

are getting lots of hair on top.

New year!!

Alright so here we go again...
It's a new year and a new start.
It's going to take me awhile to catch up on all the blogging I should have been doing...so that's my warning to you all.
A lot has changed and is going to change in the next coming months... a big move, selling the house, Miss j. graduating from preschool, Joe from Med school, and Auntie Kenzie from high school.
Life is a little crazy now with three little people, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I just don't have all the time I used too/need to get things done.
So that being said here we go...

Not your normal day...

Today started out to be a normal day.

Joe headed back to school...after a six week break.

The kids were playing as usual, and I was cleaning and feeding the babe.

Joe text me and said there was a tornado warning, and to figure out where it was.

Lovely..

So as I always do I turned on the weather channel to figure out just where this bad boy was.

Yep, sure enough right down town (as always).

So no worry.

I laid the baby down and went back down stairs to watch the news.

The weather people were freaking out at how fast the warnings were moving along from county to county.

So I kept watching...in the mean time my mom started texting me asking if it was headed our way.

It usually does, but we live far enough out that the storm always dies before it reaches us.

This time it didn't seem to be dying down.

The weather man kept redrawing the warning zone every couple of minutes.

He kept drawing it closer and closer to where we live, and I kept thinking its not going to reach us.

I told the kids to get some pillows and come play in the downstairs closet...thinking they would think it would be fun.

Miss j. could tell something was up and didn't really want to play....of course.

I still wasn't to worried until I looked at the TV and our whole neighborhood was in bright red, and then the TV went to the tornado warning signal.

I really didn't want to wake the baby, but thought I better be safe then sorry.

I went and grabbed the babe and we all hung out it the closet for about 5 mins.

I checked the TV again and it seemed that the worst had pasted.

I really wasn't to frightened (this being the sixth warning since we have lived here) but it was the first time I had actually made the kids take shelter.

We lost two huge trees in the backyard.

And who knows they may have come through one of the many windows on the back side of the house, so I am glad we took shelter.

Miss j. has talked about it constantly today asking why we didn't see the tornado and what happens.

I told her it was good that we didn't see it or feel it and what can happen to people and their houses.

She asked many times if it was safe to go upstairs.

When Joe got home she kept telling him about going in the closet...it seemed fun now.

To say the least it was not your normal day.

But in the end it reminded me just how precious my family is to me and that it can all be gone in a second!

Hayden two months...

She has chunked up a ton.
She is in size 1 diapers.

At night she is going six to seven hours for the first feeding, then every four after that.

She falls right back to sleep after she eats at night.

She is putting herself to sleep during the day, which we love.

She is smiling all the time.

She is also starting to coo and babble to us.

She doesn't seem to mind the constant kisses from Hudson.

I think she had a big growing spurt because she is almost out of her 0-3 month clothes.

She has now started wearing some 3-6 month clothes.

She doesn't seem so little anymore.

Her face has filled out a lot and now looks like a square box.

All her hair on top has started to come back.

She has been back to church once...on her two month mark.
She only cries when she is hunger.
She loves her baths.
She gags on her binky sometimes.
She has one big roll on each leg.

We are going to the doctor a little late for her two month appt. because we wanted dad to join, so her stats we will know soon.

I just loved how they turned out.

Hayden one month...

She is still in newborn diapers.

She just barely started fitting into her 0-3 months clothes.

She is still eating every three hours.

She has acid reflux.

She is a horrible burper...it just takes her forever to get one out.

She always stays curled up in a ball.

She still seems so tiny to us.

She has a fussy period between 9-11 pm...that is usually Joe's shift.

She cries every time Hudson kisses her...I think it's the loud smacking sound he makes that scares her.

She has lost all her hair on top of her head, not sure how that happens.

She does really well in her car seat.
She is really such an easy babe.
And we love her so so much!!

This Week...

10.30 - 11.05

The little peoples new thing is...lets see who can get to baby Hayden first.
Lets say it's not the best game.

Flubs the hairdresser.
He is quite into doing hair lately, especially daddy's.
After he is done with dad he say, "My turn".

This babe is sleeping like an angel during the day.
We lay her down and she's out...no crying, no rocking.

Flubs always want to lay by Hayden and hold her hand.
He now hates this thing, because him and Hayden both can't fit under it anymore.
I have to watch him like a hawk because he will move it and sometimes hit her in the head.

Sometimes we have a little too much lovin.
Hayden doesn't seem to mind getting squished in between these two.
They were fighting over who could get the closest to her.
Really?

Auntie Kenz came for a visit.
Flubs was so excited to spend the day with her.
We had to make a quick run to Build a Bear and Flubs got make Kenzie's bear.
He loved it!

Hunter's Birthday at Preschool...

Miss j. got to bring treats to preschool for her birthday.
This is one of her favorite things.
She got her birthday hat and got to sit in the birthday chair...another favorite.
Oh what fun it is to have a birthday!

Halloween...

Halloween this year was a bit different.
Miss j. didn't get to trick or treat.
She made a really poor decision...more on that later.
Flubs absolutely loved trick or treating.
He totally got it, and well felt a little comfortable at Rio's house.
He decided to just walk right in and get his own candy!
Rio and Gwen had not yet seen baby Hayden, so they took a peek.

Miss j. had a really hard time not being able to trick or treat.
We had a couple of melt downs...to say the least.
Joe had to carry her most of the time.
The reason of not a lot of pictures.
It was a little difficult to take pictures, push the stroller, and go up to each door with Flubs.
Finally Miss j. came to realize it wasn't going to happen.
She did ask to go up to one door with Flubs and get her picture taken so that was about all she got.
All and all it was a different Halloween.
I think it was harder on me then Miss j. not being able to trick or treat, but we know for sure she learned her lesson!

Hair Cutting...

So yes Miss j. cut her hair, and yes I did really think it would never happen.
I do blame myself.
I let her take some scissors in her room and cut up some paper for quiet time...BIG MISTAKE!
I really thought she was old enough, and that we had talked about the whole no cutting hair thing many times.
I guess the temptation was to strong!
The crazy thing is a didn't even notice it until I was doing her hair for dance class.
And to say I freak out is an understatement.
You can't see it in these pictures but she also cut herself some three inch "brains" aka bangs.
Later that night when she showed me the hair I seriously cried.
I was debating cutting her hair short, but Nana and the sisters insisted I not.
In the end I was able to make it blend a little, but it will be a long time before her "Rapunzel" hair is back.

Duck Pond...

We decided to take all the kids to the duck pond while the weather was still nice.
It was really windy, but the little people didn't seem to mind one bit.
Miss j. and Alli were laughing their heads off at something.
We couldn't figure out what it was, but apparently it was pretty funny.
It was nice to spend some time outside again.

So little Miss Hayden is still our tiniest babe yet.

I can't believe I didn't get one picture.

Trying to juggle the babe and Hudson I guess that's my reason.

Everything checked out good.

She still has a little jaundice in her eyes, but the doctor said it should be gone soon.

She has a little reflux so the doctor gave us some medicine to help with that, so hopefully it works.

Since we haven't given her any formula yet the doctor also gave her some vitamin drops.

Miss j.'s Preschool Halloween Party...

So today Miss j. had her Halloween party at school.
Me, Flubs and the babe joined.
Hunter was so excited to have Flubs there.
She scooted right over to share her seat and snacks with him...this doesn't always happen so I was pretty proud.
She had her arm around him the whole time.
It was so sweet!

Miss Ellie...these two girls just love each other so much.
The sand table is one of their favorite stations at school.

While the girls did craft time.
While Flubs played with all the trains.
We love going to the preschool.

Hunter's Pumpkin...

Good Bye Bo Bo...

A few weeks ago my parents dog Bo died.
It was such a sad day.
We all cried.
I hadn't told Miss j. yet because I was just waiting for good opportunity.
(and well who loves to give that kind of news)
We had gone to Wild Eggs to eat again, and Hunter drew this wonderful picture of Bo, her and Reg.
The second one is of Hudson and Bo.
When she showed us the pictures I almost started to cry...we hadn't told her yet, and well Joe decided to do it right there.
She was pretty sad, but then said, "It's ok mom because we will see him again in heaven."
Yep your right Sis.
I can't wait to go home for the holidays, but I am really nervous for when Hudson starts asking and searching for "Bo Bo".
It will be sad.

Bethany's Wedding Day...

Bethany is one of Joe's good friends from Med school.
He introduced us, I started doing her hair over three years ago, and now she is a family favorite!!
Bethany asked Miss j. to be her flower girl sometime last year and we haven't heard the end of it.
Well the day finally came and we couldn't have been more happier!!
We started the day off with a lot of hair in the morning, the wedding, and a fabulous reception/party that night!

The church was absolutely beautiful, I loved the stained glass windows.
Last minute Bethany asked Hunter if she would like to stand at the front with her.
Of course Hunter said yes, and she even joined in and tried singing one of the songs.
She was all smiles during the whole ceremony.

Right when we walked in to the reception Hunter asked when she was going to be able to go on stage.
We told her that this wasn't for her and she probably wasn't.
Well we were wrong.
They announced Hunter as the flower girl and had her come out onto the dance floor first...at that moment I knew she knew this party was for her!
We all about died laughing.
I love her confidence!

Oh my...all night Hunter was batting her eyes and and using such delicate hand motions.
She was totally killing us.
She was loving all the attention all the guests were giving her.
She was a princess and she knew it.

Later Joe introduced Miss j. to "Troy Bolton" a friend in his class.
She wasn't fooled, but she did think he looked a lot like the real thing.
John was so sweet and danced the night away with Miss j. and Flubs.

The babe was starting to wake up so we knew it was time to head.
On the elevator ride down to the parking lot Hudson was killing us with his "stance".
He was saying, "Mom get ready...Dad get ready...sissy get ready."
I guess Joe had taught him to brace himself for when the elevator stopped.
As we walked out the doors we saw this super cute carriage.
Hunter about died!
She started yelling, "Hey stop! I need a ride because I was the flower girl tonight!"
I guess being a flower girl entitles you to almost anything.
It was a long day, but it was oh so fun!

Today Miss j. had dance.

Sometimes it's a fight to get her there, and other times it's not a problem at.
Today she said, "Mom, I don't think I should go to dance, because I get a really bad dance headache."
Ha, I love the things this girl can come up with.
We ended up going (of course) and no headache, just a happy girl who was glad she went!

Wedding Rehearsal and Dinner...

Tonight we had Bethany's wedding rehearsal and dinner.
Miss j. was pretty excited about the practice.
While Hunter did the walk through a couple of times the boys played with the iphone, and Flubs was loving it!
Then we were off to dinner at the Cafe'.

The first thing the kids and I saw was the dessert display.
Oh, my it all looked so good and tasty.
The kids were dying over the huge cupcakes and really wanted one.
The Cafe' was decorated so cute with antiques and all sorts of different stuff.

Flubs kept going back to look at the cupcakes.

Then he would run back to our table and say, "Mom, cupcakes!"

Apparently he caught the attention of one of grooms uncle's, and well they took a liking to each other.

Before we knew it the man had gone behind the counter and brought Hudson the biggest cupcake there.

Flubs was thrilled and downed the entire thing.

It was a fun night with good food and lots of entertainment from the little people.

Alli's Birthday Party...

This morning we had Alli j.'s birthday.
I can't believe this little one is three!
(I kind of think she's mine because we live the closest and just because...)
I had to miss out on most of it because I was doing wedding hair all morning.
Joe took all three kids and headed over....that being the reason Flubs tagged along.
I don't think the girls cared to much because their use to it, and I think they like to boss him around.
As you can see the birthday girl was quite pleased with the day!!

The Letter "O"...

Oh yes the letter "O"...
You ask why is it around his head?
Well because this little boy can find anything to play with at nap time.
The crazy thing is he actually took a nap with this thing around his neck.

We were suppose to go to Boo Zoo.
I was feeding the baby when Flubs woke up, so I asked Hunter to go open his door.
When she opened his door she about died and no not about the letter around his neck...it was because he had taken all the letters off his wall...Ha
That is totally the little mother in her.
She said, "Hudson mom is not going to be happy that you did this."
In the meantime Flubs is bawling as he is coming down the hall to my room.
I about died when I saw him.
I tried to get the letter off but couldn't.
I could tell he was getting really nervous and scared about the whole situation, and Hunter wasn't helping telling him that it would be stuck on his head forever.
So I did the only thing I knew.
I put on a movie and started taking pictures like it wasn't a big deal...he calmed right down.
Joe was on call so I called him a couple of times...no answer.
So I finally sent him a picture of Flubs.
I got a call in two seconds....I knew that would get his attention.
Long story short Joe was able to get off early.
He came right home and pulled/ripped the "O" right off Flubs head.
It didn't hurt him...no blood, but it definitely scared the crap out of him.
He cried for a minute or two and then kept telling us all, "No, no "O" on head... no no".
After all the drama we missed Boo Zoo, but settled on going to dinner with the Beckstroms.
And it hasn't happened again.

This Week...

Family home evening...we try to do it on Sunday's because its a guarantee that Dad will be around.
Flubs as started saying the pray and it is the cutest thing.
Him and Hunter fight over who is going to say it, so we usually end up with two prayers.

Flubs is such a little lover boy!!
He honestly kisses Hayden at least five times an hour.
He makes the biggest smacking sound when he kisses her so it usually scares her.
I know when he has got to her because I'll find some sort of beverage or crumbs on Hayden's head.

Hayden is finally starting to fit into some of the cute outfits Nana bought her.
She is now officially out of everything newborn.

Miss j. got her Hunter boots this week, and has been wearing them constantly.
She grew out of her old ones and has been trying to shove her foot into them so I finally placed my order.
You can not live without a good pair of rain boots in KY.

Mr. Hudson is a little obsessed with his cars right now.
He has to sleep with them.
He also loves his Superman jammies, and is always showing me how strong he is in them.

Another obsession of his is getting dressed, and doing it himself.
He is definitely his dads boy because all we wants to wear is basketball shorts and a t-shirt.
I seriously have to fight him to wear pants because it is freezing here already.

We ended the week with Bethany's wedding.
Miss j. got to be the flower girl.
She has waited a whole year for this day, and lets just say I think it was all she had dreamed of and more.
More of the wedding to come.

This Week...

Little Hayden has lost her hair...well the top.
It is sad.
She now has a receding hair line, and lets just say we don't love it.
Hunter said, "Mom her hair is ugly."
Poor girl...we still love her!!

Hunter insisted I take of picture of the both of them.
She said they looked "fancy"!
I think it was because of the beanie, and of course Hunter's headband.

This Week...

The minute we lay Hayden on the floor she has to stretch.
I still can't believe how small she is.

Without fail these two always have to hold the babe before she is feed, changed, wiped down, well pretty much before she can do anything.
But I wouldn't have it any other way.

This picture was taken by Miss j. she absolutely loves to take pictures...mainly of herself but she sneaks in a few of the babe.

Hayden fell asleep on my hip while I was trying to get lunch for the other two little people.
The kids were dying laughing...Hudson said, "Mom, what her doing?"
They couldn't believe she could fall asleep like that.

This little dude is quite the handful lately.
He decided the couch was a much better driving surface then the floor.
He will carry this car up the stairs and onto my bed and drive around.
I'm still not sure what I am going to do with him...

Like I said...a handful.
If I can't get what he wants, he will get it himself.
He can climb anything and I really mean anything.

I am trying to do Babywise.
Sometimes I am not sure why I am doing this.
For instance I am waking this sleeping baby to eat...am I crazy?

Oh boy...the letter "O", more on this later.
Let's just say we got it off of his head and ending up going to dinner that night with Alli j.
So the night turned out ok.

We ended the week with Elli's fairy party.
Lots of great food, fairy's, makeup and cake.
Miss j. had such a blast it was hard to get her to leave.

Trunk or Treat...

We had Trunk or Treat the other night at the church.

I made the kids take pictures knowing Halloween would be crazy and I probably wouldn't get what I needed.

Of course Flubs was having a fit and didn't want his costume on.

He only wanted his bat, which was fine with me.

Miss Witch wanted a picture with her "little kitty"....ha loved that she thought Hayden was her prop.

I can't get over Hunter's little wink in the second picture.

I'm not quite sure were she even learned that.

The kids found their friends right away and started in on the donuts.

Hayden babe was so good and just hung out in her car seat the entire night.

I was glad because this was the first time we had really taken her out in a huge group and I didn't want her around everyone.

That is the last thing I want is a sick baby.

The kids loved the Trunk or Treat, and came home with way to much candy.
Their favorite trunk was Kris and Corissa's which is not a surprise since these two are their most favorite people.
What a fun night!

This Week...

Flubs got a little to crazy dancing, and slipped and smacked the wood floor face first.

So we ended up with a bloody lip and nose.

We all can't seem to get enough of this little sleeping babe.

She is still sleeping a lot during the day.

The weather has been good so we have been taking advantage and going on a lot of walks around the neighborhood.

This time Flubs insisted on bringing his bat and ball...he is a true boy.

Miss j. takes after her mom.

She loves to stay in the bath and always want to be the last one out.

She now tell's Joe that the water is never hot enough.

Flubs seems to get a little board with me when Hunter leaves for school.

He is done with the bink, but it seems like it was a need today because he somehow found one of the baby's.

Miss j. is enjoying preschool more then ever.

She is now going to "lunch bunch" this month thanks Nana.

Dad has been getting home a little earlier then usual.

And the kids have been really into reading books.

So they take full advantage the minute he walks in the door.

In the mornings the kids love to jump into bed and watch a little t.v. while I feed the babe.

As you can see Flubs doesn't seem to last to long.

He starts making his own fun...which consists of falling off the bed.

I came downstairs to this one morning.

I guess I must have taken to long, so he decided what was for breakfast.

Flubs loves this little girl.

He laid down beside her and said, "Mom I hode her hand...she cryin."

Hudson is not wanting to nap anymore, and I am hating it.

I tried to check on him today from under the door and this is what I found.

Poor guy fell asleep by his door blanket in hand.

Halloween Street...

Lacy and Brian had heard of a really fun neighborhood that goes all out for Halloween, so we decided to check it out.
This was one of the first night it has been cold.
The kids seem to enjoy all the lights and decorations, and the adults had a good chat session.

It was pretty fun.

I am just not sure I would want all that creepy stuff in my yard...

On a Walk...

Joe suggested that we go on a walk since it was really nice outside.

This never happens...because he thinks walking is a waste of time.

The kids heard the word "walk" and jumped up threw on their shoes and headed out the door.

The babe was asleep so of course I had to take some more pictures of her.

In shock I put down the camera, put her in the car seat, and hurried out the door before Joe changed his mind.

It was actually pretty hot, but we made it through the whole neighborhood.
Flubs changed his mind at least 5 times as to what type of transportation he would take.
First it was the stroller, then walking with his bat, and finally he decided on the barbie four wheeler.
Love this crazy kid.

Montgomery Farms...

This one of our most favorite things we do here in KY...going to Montgomery Farms.

The kids absolutely love the petting zoo and the playground.

It was kind of sad thinking this might be our last year, but exciting at the same time for what lies ahead.

Little Miss Hayden was a gem.
She was so good and slept the entire time we were there.
I happened to catch her little smile before she dosed off to sleep.

I love this group of girls...we all have so much fun together.
Every Monday night is girls night and we could honestly chat till the sun comes up!

Joe decided that roasting hot dogs was just not good enough, so he made his own little tinfoil dinner before we left.
He was so proud that is actually turned out!

Flubs somehow ended up soaking wet.
(this always happens...you think I would learn and bring some extra clothes)
Bella had some extra pants hence the rainbow pants, and Hudson loved them.
It was such a fun night spent with friends and family.

This was Little Miss Hayden's first wipe down/bath since we had got home from the hospital.
I was all by myself as the kids had left with Joe and his mom.
It was nice to be able to hear her little noises and coo's as I wiped her down.
She didn't cry until the very end and because I think she was cold.

I couldn't resist taking more pictures after she was all fresh and clean.
I love me a good smelling babe!!
I love her little curl and all her hair, and I don't want to forget it.
So far so good...she is such a good little babe, and I guess we'll keep her for now.

Right when Flubs wakes up the first thing he says is, "I hode da baby!" as he runs into my room.

Then he proceeds to kiss her till she cries.

I love that he loves her so much!

While I was getting ready this morning Miss j. decided to venture into my closet and do a little dressing up.

Grandma's visit...

It was so nice to have grandma here to help out with the little people.
They absolutely loved the extra attention.
She made sure the kids got out of the house everyday.
They were always doing something fun like...going to the duck pond, shopping at walmart and the mall, going to Kaziong and playing outside.
It was great to have the extra help.
We always love when grandma comes!

Hayden's First Doctors Appt...

After being home for only two days it was back to the doctors.
They wanted to see Hayden to check her jaundice levels and her weight.

Marie stayed at home to wait for Miss j. to get home from school.
The visit went well, and she hardly cried.
Flubs was so concerned about the baby.
He wanted to hold her hand the entire time.
When we got home Hunter was a little upset she was not able to go with all of us.
But after some talking and a little one and one time with baby Hayden she seemed to forgive us.

Coming Home...

Coming home day was really nice.
I had the whole morning to myself...just me and baby Hayden.
I snapped some last photo's, took off our bracelets, and got us both ready for the day.
As you can see the poor girl never got her name on her card because we were still debating that morning.
SAD.

While Joe was grabbing the car I took some of her in her huge outfit.
My kids have never fit into newborn clothes, so I figured why would this baby.
Well I was totally wrong...she was so tiny for her ginormous 0-3 month outfit.
She was only 7 lbs 2 oz the day we brought her home.
I love that the hat drowns her.

We asked the nurse to take a family photo before leaving the hospital.
Bad idea...it took her at least 10 minutes to just get this one picture.
(I don't think she had ever used a camera in her life...so I didn't dare ask to take TWO).

I couldn't wait to see the kids.
As we opened the garage Hunter was running out after us.
She was screaming, and laughing...just so excited to see the babe.

Little Hayden was also the first of our babies to not cry the whole way home.
I guess she really is our "little odd ball".
(as her Nana and Auntie's already call her)
It was really nice to be home.

The last two times we never had enough time to get one last photo of the belly.

As you can see we had some time to mess around before little miss decided to make her quick entrance into the world.

After school Miss j. got to come back with dad to the hospital.
She got to pick out a movie at "Red Dot" and come watch it with just the baby, mom and dad.
She was pretty excited to not have to do quiet time/nap time.
She loved holding baby Hayden and smiled the whole time.
It was fun for me and Joe to have alone time with both of the big kids.

Miss j. couldn't get over how cute Hayden's socks/shoes.
And she was quite upset about the baby's ankle bracelet.
She was worried it was to tight, and wanted us to take it off.
We told her as soon as it was time to go home it could come off.

The next day Joe brought Flubs back to the hospital while Miss j. was at school.
We wanted the kids to have a little alone time so they could have both of our attention.
Flubs was so excited... he jumped right up on the bed and never left my side.
He got to help dress Hayden, then hold her or maul her whatever you prefer, and then take her for a walk down the halls.
He got to the elevator and said, "K, go mom...bye."
He was ready for me and the babe to go back home with him.
This little guy loves HIS baby, as he says.
He always wants to hold her, feed her, and give her a binky.
He just grins from ear to ear when he has Hayden, even when she is bawling...he still thinks she's the best thing in the world.

First Day back at Dance...

Miss j. started dance back up the day before the baby came.
Joe had the day off...so the whole family packed up to go watch.
She was able to go into the older class because last year she got a little bored.
This class does tap and ballet.
She was so excited to wear her new tap shoes she could hardly stand it.

Later that night when everyone had gone home Joe and I got some alone time.

Meeting the Family...

After the birth of Miss Hayden we were off to a different part of the hospital and to a new room.
Joe called his mom to bring the kids down to meet their new baby sissy.
It took us a lot longer to get into our room...we actually had to wait in the hall for about 10-15 mins because they didn't have the room ready.
So this is where the kids first saw the baby and myself.
I could hear Hunter and Hudson both running down the hall screaming Mama Mama.
I couldn't wait to see them.

Both kids got their turn to hold Miss Hayden.
They couldn't wait to get their hands on her.

Then it was finally time for her to get those rather large feet stamped on paper and get her bath.
Right when Hunter saw Hayden she said, "Um what is all this stuff on her face? She needs a bath."
Yep she was right, and Hunter didn't leave Hayden's side during the whole thing.

We all hung out for awhile and then the baby crashed.

Oh...I still can't get over how much hair this little one had.

Miss j. and Flubs both had just a little peach fuzz, and I am loving all of it.

The kids were both so good, but as you can see they lost interest once little Hayden fell asleep.

I still can't believe its all over.

It was like a dream.

And I am glad I am living in it!!!

A Birth Story...

So it all started at 5 am with a phone call to the hospital finding out what time our induction was scheduled.
Seven o'clock and we were off.
My sweet friend Corrisa came and took all of these wonderful photo's for me.
I am truely grateful because they are priceless!!

Joe having a popsicle break.
We were actually quite bored at first.
This was all new to us... with Hudson I barely made it to the hospital and didn't get an epidural.
The last second before he came they did a spinal and it set in right after his head crowned.
My doctor was worried that with this little one I wasn't going to make it to the hospital so we scheduled an induction.
I was really nervous, wondering if we had made the right decison and in the end we did.

This was taking right as the doctor was walking in...
She checked me and the next thing I knew we were set up for the baby.

I hurried and called my mom...pushed one time and bam she was here.

I couldn't believe how fast it was over.
We were actually quite sad it went to fast, but grateful things went so smooth.
The doctor said good thing we had scheduled it, because we probably would have had her in the car.
So we now know the next one will be scheduled also.

I couldn't wait for the nurses to weigh her.
Seriously the anticipation was killing me...we had all made bets on her weight.
Joe was right on 7 lbs 9 oz...she was our smallest baby yet.

This was my favorite time of the whole labor...just spending time with Joe and the baby.

It was so great to have my mother in law here to watch the kids and have no worries of hurrying back to get them.

The whole thing was wonderful and I honestly can't wait to do it again.

Hunter's First Day of Preschool...

I can't believe its that time of year again.
Miss j. was pretty excited about today.
Last year I made her write the same sign...knowing her writing would change.
But I was really surprised at what a difference there was.
She totally remembered writing last years sign and was so excited to do it again.
She wanted it to be perfect and this year she even added a bow...loved it!
This will be a fun tradition ever year.

She kept reassuring Flubs that she was going to come back in a couple of hours, and that she was not going to sleepover.
I thought it was pretty cute how worried about him she was.
And of course we couldn't leave all the toothbrush's out of the picture.

This year she was a pro...
She found her spot right away...and as you can see she couldn't wait to get inside and start playing.
She has the same teacher so it wasn't to big of a change from last year.

Miss j. did get a big surprise when her best friend Elli had changed into her class at the last minute.
I wish I could have got a picture of her face when she saw Elli walk into the door way.
They immediately hugged and started telling secrets to each other.
I just know its going to be another great year!!

39 Weeks...

So today was my LAST doctors appointment.

Not a whole lot has changed.

I am still a 1.5.

We did have a little scare though, the doctor said the baby was measuring a little small.

So she suggested that I get an ultra sound just to double check everything.

She also said if everything didn't look good she wanted to start me today.

That gave me just a little anxiety.

It was a crazy day in the office because of the three day weekend so they couldn't get me in for at least a couple of hours.

Me and the kids left...watched a movie in the van, and made a stop at Barnes n' Noble to get a little energy out.

We grabbed lunch and headed back to the doctor.

The ultra sound went great...my fluid was fine and the baby measured out OK.

The tech was wonderful, she let us just watch the baby for at least 10 mins after she was done.

The kids were going crazy watching her.

The picture was so clear and we had a close up of her face the whole time.

She was sucking and puckering her lips...which are big.

I guess I was a little surprised because I didn't think we would be able to see that much detail, but yes this little girl has some lips like her daddy.

We could already tell she has some chunky cheeks.

Miss j. kept asking if she was going to be able to come out today...she could hardly stand it after watching her on the TV screen.

Flubs kept jumping up and down and saying, "Mama baby".

I don't think he could quite make out the picture, but he could hear her heartbeat and that was good enough for him.

So things are right on track...I am scheduled for next Tuesday morning, unless this little one decides on something different.

At dinner tonight we were all talking about how excited we are to see her.

I honestly can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by and that we will have another little one here in just 7 days!!

For my birthday this year Joe and I got to go out for dinner...Cheesecake Factory.
Lacy and Brian watched the kids for us.
It was really nice to have a little time for the two of us to catch up.
It was like we were dating again.
Later, we meet back at the house and had cake and ice cream.
My mom and sisters surprised me with such fun gifts, and I got the camera I have wanted for a long time.
It was so nice to have my little people be able to celebrate with me.
It was such a fabulous birthday!!

The kids love to play dress up at our house.

Flubs was quite proud of his hat and dress.

I think it's time we buy some boy dress up...ha ha.

Dancing with Dad and the Blue Beetle Bop...

Back in SG Miss j. and Daddy loved playing Just Dance.
They both got pretty good at it.
I thought it was more entertaining watching them then actually dancing myself.

While these two danced Flubs and I just relaxed.
Flubs had a major obsession with the little blue Beetle Bop... and his normal shoe fetish.
He loved to lock and unlock this little car all day long.
It was the funniest thing.
The first night he found it at Ron and Anica's he actually tried to get inside the car.
We all got a really good laugh, and then had to take the car with us to Nana's.
Oh how I love this little man and the crazy things he loves!

School Clothes Shopping...

Splash Pad...

After naps the kids and I decided to run down to the splash pad right by our house.
When we got there Daddy called and said he was almost home, so he came and joined us.
It was super hot...almost too hot for Mommy.
After the kids were sick of the water they played on the jungle gym.

I had never seen Flubs want to climb so much.
It made me nervous, so good thing Daddy was always right there.
We hope it starts to cool down soon, or Dad and I will not be going back.

BBQ at Our House...

Every time him and Corissa come over he runs to them yelling and screaming.
He is also in love with little Lola.
He just loves holding her.

We had a BBQ at our house today.
It was suppose to be last week, but we got rained out.
We thought we better have one more big horrah before baby #3 comes.
The kids all loved the water slide, and actually played on the swing set most of the time.
This little group of kids get along so well, so it makes getting together really easy and nice.
The weather was so great...not very humid and it wasn't hot at all.
The food was good, and the company was wonderful.

Dinner Outside...

Tonight Daddy got home early...which we love.
He took the kids outside to play on the water slide while I took a break.
They were having so much fun I knew there was no way I was getting them inside for dinner.
So, we did dinner outside tonight.

Preschool Meet and Greet...

Miss j. had her Preschool Meet and Greet today.
She was so excited to go back to school and she her teacher's again.
Flubs loved playing with the Lego's and Play-doh.
And Miss j. enjoyed socializing with all the girls and loved the science station.

but she was ok with having Ms. Renae as her teacher again.

Baby Shower...

She put it all together so beautifully.

37 weeks...

Went to the doctor today.

This time I dare take both kids, and get checked...

It was the longest time we had waited, but the kids did surprisingly well.

I was really nervous about little Miss asking questions when the doctor would check me.

So yesterday I was preparing her a little so that she wouldn't be so surprised.

She actually didn't ask for details....thankful for that.

She didn't even notice anything different at this appointment...just what I wanted.

When the doctor listened to the baby's heartbeat both kids went wild!

Flubs kept screaming, "baby, baby!", and miss j. was laughing uncontrollably.
So I am still a one.
Don't think she is coming any time soon.

I lost a pound this week.

So I dared ask how much weight I have gain.

I was presently surprise when the answer was 23 pounds.

Not sure how that has happened, but I'll take it.

I know I gained more with the other two kids.

This week I have been getting this piercing pain below my rib.

I have never felt it before with the others.

I change positions, put pressure on it, walk around and nothing helps.

Hope it doesn't continue.

I am so close to finishing my blog book, and then this little girl can come anytime after that.

I honestly can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by.

I know I am going to miss feeling her kick inside me, but at the same time I know it will be so much more enjoyable to hold her.

Can't wait!!!

So this morning while I was on the computer both kids set up their tent next to me and started playing.

A minute later Flubs said, "Mom I toot toot's?"

Me, "Oh no."

Flubs, busts up laughing and rolls the tent over.

Yes his daddy taught him this.

And the thing is he doesn't toot or even make a noise.

He justs says it.
Thinking it is the funniest thing ever.

Hudson 2 years...

Best decision to go without Miss j. and daddy.

I let him take his bat and ball.

Also a great decision.

I love this little/big boy more than words can express and I am so grateful for the sweet tenderness he brings to our family!!

36 weeks...

I went to the doctor today.

Corissa came over and watched the kids.

So that made my visit a whole lot easier.

The doctor checked me...I am a one...wow.

She said not this week...I pretty much figured that.

She said the baby has turned and is head down.

She also said it looks like little miss has dropped.

The baby is still measuring right on.

I was so grateful for that.

Not sure what Miss j. would have thought/asked about the whole thing, and I just wasn't ready for that.

Thank you again Corissa for coming over.

I can't believe only 28 more days till this little babe arrives.

I can't wait to see what she is going to look like.

I am starting to get really sore, and can't roll over in bed without some sort of pain.

I have to make sure I don't eat anything at least 3 to 4 hours before bed, or I am burning inside.

I still need to get a few things done.

So our church changed to 9 o'clock and we are thrilled.
Because that means we get to have our Sunday afternoon's back.

This Saturday was a busy day.
Corissa, myself and Miss j. made the trip to Zappo's...came back empty handed.
Then we all ran to Costco to do a little shoppin and ate lunch.
The kids thoroughly enjoyed their berry smoothie.

Later I went to get my pregnancy massage Joe gave me awhile back...it was heaven!
I met up with Daddy and the kids at the new splash pad three blocks from our house!!
Fabulous.
About 15 mins later a huge rain storm came rolling in, so the fun was over.

Today Miss j. had to go to her room for time out.

Well about five minutes later she starts asking if she can come out.

Flubs answers her, "A no mon out!"...(come)

As he repeats himself at least seven times.

I about died!

So glad he is starting to take charge of her...ha!

This little guy was such a good sport.
He had to get his finger pricked and have two shots.
He hasn't been eating as well as he usually does, but his stats seem to show other wise.
So I guess I don't need to worry as much.
Right before Flubs was going to get his shots and called Joe to see where he was.
He had just got off the exit, so I asked the nurse to hold off.
I was so glad daddy was able to be there for shots.
Flubs was glad too.
Miss j. kept asking if she was going to have to get shots for her five year appt. and to her surprise she just needs a finger prick.
So she was thrilled.

I wasn't able to get a picture of Flubs band aids because he wanted them off immediately.
This was the first time my kids didn't get a fever that day or the day after.
So it was an easy appointment for us all.
I still can't believe my baby boy is two!!

35 weeks...

I am feeling better then 2 weeks ago.

For some reason I have been sleeping better, and I am so grateful for that.

She is kicking/moving like crazy...my whole belly just rolls.

Miss j. is getting so excited.

I am not so anxious for her to be here anymore.

Not sure if that is good or bad?

I am running out of clothes.
My shirts will not cover my belly anymore...lovely.
I think she is going to be my biggest baby.

We still have not decided on a name.
I have come to the conclusion we will just decided in the hospital.

I am a little nervous about getting started.
I have not been keeping track at how much weight I have gained.
Guess I don't care as much this time.
I have been working on my 2010 blog book.
The goal is to get it done before this little one gets here.

Wild Eggs...

So the day after Flubs birthday we went to Wild Eggs.
Its one of our most favorite places to eat.
Kris and Corissa joined us this morning.
The kids were stoked as usual to see them.

Nana and Papa gave Flubs a Mac truck...and as you can see it goes everywhere with us.
Mac had to be on top of the table the whole time.
Flubs will not put this thing down or let anyone else touch his Mac.
Pretty funny.

My Two Year Old Boy...

I can't believe my little bubby flubs is two!!

I can say I was a little nervous to have you...a boy.

Not sure as to what you would be like, or how I would handle it since your mama is used to girls.

You came a little too fast...um three hours start to finish.

You were not so small 8lbs 11oz. and 22 .5 inches long.

You had bigger lips then you sissy (wonder where that came from).

You didn't sleep through the night till you were 3 months.

But I loved you from the start.

You are such a cuddly little guy.

You love to be held and have your blanket and binky.

You are definitely a mama's boy, and I like it that way!!!

You're so sweet and sensitive, but loud and rough.

You're feet are almost as big as your sisters, and your legs are...just thick.

I love to do your hair and give you haircuts all the time.

I love to smell your baby skin, cut your never ending finger nails.

I love to find your cars and toy balls all over the house.

I love when you spank my bum, just want me to lay by you, give me long long kisses, and super tight hugs.

I love that you are sweaty in two seconds from being outside, and that you love to get on my back to go down the stairs.

I love that you like to take out your own diapers, but not before chucking them down the stairs.

I love that first thing in the morning you run to find your sissy and giver her a hug...it melts my heart every time.

I don't know what I would do with out you!!

You adore your sissy.

You follow her every move and copy all she does.

Yes dress up, babies, high heels it all.

You have the biggest blue eyes.

You are in size 3T and 4T clothes.

Size 5 diaper at night and 4 during the day.

You started wanting to do the potty thing at 18 months, and your mama still is not ready.

You can completely unbuckle your car seat and roam about the van.

Today me and your Nana found a way to keep you in...zip ties!!!

You have been in a big boy bed since you were 20 months.

I was not ready for that either.

You were so much easier then your sissy...I cried the first night you slept in your bed thinking it was going to be horrible.

But you surprised us all and have never gotten out...thank you!!

Words you say constantly: I do it! Where daddy go, Mama, Sissy, Karleea, Kenzie, baby Lola, Alli, and Eat pancake.

Your obsessed with keys, locks, shoes, and seat belts.

We had to buy you shoes just for inside the house because it is such a dilemma to take your shoes off each time we get home.

You are a fish...really you just dive in the water and kick your arms and legs constantly, you want no one to touch you.

You love to talk on the phone, and make no sense at all.

You love love your cousin baby Lola.

You would rather be around her then play with the girls.

You are so gentle with babies, never poke their eyes, and always want to give them their bink.

I can't wait to see you with your baby sister.

But it make me so so sad that you will not be my baby anymore.

Disney Night @ Calypso Cove...

Today we headed to Calypso Cove for the Disney Night Party.
It wasn't so Disney, but we had a lot of fun.
They had a bunch of contests, games and drawings going on.
Of course we didn't win anything between the eight of us, but Miss j. joined in on the hula hoop contest and loved it.
Nana bought her one during the summer, and she actually got pretty good at it.
We ate Little Caesars and let the kids play.
We traded off with the kids so the "big people" could go down the slides too.
I can't believe summer is almost over...
I am sure will we try to cram in a few more trips before the park closes.

The Dentist...

Today was visit #2 for the kids.
And of course I forgot my camera again...it must be something about the dentist.

Miss j. did so good she hopped right in the chair and told Flubs to watch how good she was going to be.

And she was all that and more.

Flubs sat and watch so good.
Then it was his turn...as you can see he could hardly wait for them to start.
He did good for awhile...
She got three teeth cleaned and after that he was done.
He wanted no more goop on his teeth.
Pretty funny, but I'll take it...this visit was much better then the last.

Watching t.v. waiting for the Dentist to finish them off.
They were both ecstatic to get new toothbrushes.
Maybe that might be the new prize at my house now.

Daddy's Hat...

Flubs climbed the shelves to get his daddy's baseball hast.

He ran into me...pretty proud of his accomplishment.

He kept saying, "Mama, Daddy's hats!"

He ended up wearing it most of the day and insisting that I do the same.

33 weeks...

So a little late, but it works.

I have got to go back through all my pictures and see if I can find more weeks.

I always loved seeing pictures of my mom pregnant with us girls.
So I figure I need to document more.

So I was feeling great until as of this last week.

She is just running out of room in there, and I don't think I can stretch much more.

It is just so dang humid here in Ky.
I would rather do 115 degree weather over this any day.

I can't really breath when I lay down to sleep at night.
She sits on a nerve so I am in pain constantly below my ribs.
Miss j. did sat on the same nerve...it must just be my girls that do that.

And I am consistently taking Tums all night long.

I do love feeling her move.

I love that the kids can totally see her roll around and feel her kick them.

Still have not decided on a name...which is so not like me.

I usually have had the name way early into the pregnancy.

I am not as nervous as I thought I would be to have three, more ready to embrace it.
I feel totally ready...room done, house organized, clothes out.
I guess we just wait.

We decided to bust out the camera before church on Sunday to get a belly shot.
Well the kids went a little wild over the baby.

I can't believe how fast they are growing up and how old they both look.

Summer Day's with Alli j...

It is so nice and different to have family live by us.

The kids ask to play with Alli j. at least everyday.

We have been keeping cool this summer with lots of trips to the Y, swimming at the Beckstrom's, and playing on the water slide and swing set at our house.

The kids get along so good, and well it's just easy!

Doctor Visit for Mom...

Took these two little people to the doctor with me today.
They were actually pretty good.
32 weeks.
Dr. Walsh said I am measuring right on, and it still looks like she wants to induce on Sept. 13th.
The kids couldn't wait to hear the baby's heartbeat.
They kept telling the doctor, "That's my baby!"

We are back...

finally...

It was a summer vacation full of fun, partying, playing and lots of family.

It's sad that now I have to get back to real life full of laundry, dishes, and cleaning

but it was oh so worth the five and half weeks away.

I have at least a thousand pictures to go through, and blog book I need to finish all before baby number three show up in eight weeks!!!

Lake Powell...day 4

Got to love self timer...
We had to leave a day early to catch our flight early Saturday morning.
Nana decided to come with us to help out.
So that morning we crammed in a few more tube rides and the jet ski.

On the ride back into the dock Flubs insisted he help Papa drive the boat.
He also took this job very seriously.
Within ten minutes both kids had crashed.
Its amazing what the sun does to you...

Back on the dock while we were waiting to be seated Miss j. decided to pose everyone and get a few shots in.
Love this girl...she can get anyone to do anything.

Lunch was delicious.
Flubs seemed to enjoy it...
Nana was such a good sport to sit in the back seat on the way home.
But I'm sure she was soaking up the last few hours with her little people.
Both kids were out in seconds.
And yes...they sleep with their blankets on their heads.
Miss j. has done this since she was two, and now Flubs just goes along with it.
It was such a fun trip and we were glad to be able to join.

Lake Powell...day 3

A lot more water and sun.
Of course we did more tubing...this time with a couple new tubes.
We relaxed a little bit more this day...
That night we went and took showers on the back of Stan's boat.
The kids got quiet a kick out of it.

Stan and Tracey took us out on there fancy boat to let the boys wake board and try skurfing.

Joe got up his first time and Papa only took a few times.

We weren't sure the old man still had skills, but he proved us wrong.

Mental note...

Don't get pregnant during the summer again, so I too can try some fun things.

After every turn the kids would jump out of the boat.

I guess they needed just as many turns in the water as the big people.

Thanks to Daddy and Papa for always staying in the longest with them.

Flubs loved hanging out with his papa.

He always wanted to be riding on something.

Karli and John insisted Miss j. take this picture.
They caught her drinking out of the milk carton and almost died laughing.
I told Joe the kids watch his every move and copy him...honestly.
We defiantly didn't lack entertainment...

Miss j. on her EZ ski.
This was a favorite of hers.
She is really a water girl... and wanted to be going all the time.

We always all have a blast tubing.
Papa even had a go while I drove the boat.
I think he nearly had a heart attack out there, but he some what asked for it.

Flubs took the job of flag boy.
He was quiet serious the whole time.
That was the one thing that would get his mind of tubing so the rest of us could have a turn.

Lake Powell...day 1

Our Lake Powell trip started off bright and early 3:30 am.
I know crazy.
First stop a gas station...yes for Joe and his IBS.
As you can see we were all a bit thrilled with these fabulous big bathrooms.
They were really clean.

Miss j. didn't hesitate to make friends with the older girls.
She stayed by Auntie Kenzie and her friends side the remainder of the trip.

Bubby couldn't get enough of the water.
He was constantly on the move exploring.
So someone was constantly going with him...daddy.

The kids favorite spot was on "Big Jenny" underneath the in the cabin.
They loved to be under there and pop out the top occasionally.
They would play house and just relax on the bed.

Jenny won the kids over the minute Papa parked her in the drive way back home.
It was a daily thing to play in her a couple hours at a time.

Playing in the rain...

It did rain one time while we were in SG.
It defiantly wasn't the Kentucky rain we are used to.
This was better because you could actually go outside and not end up SOAKED!
The kids absolutely loved playing with Nana's umbrellas and dancing around in the rain.
They could have stayed out there all day if we would have let them.

Swimming at Grandma's...

Flubs is a fish to say the least...honestly.
He loves his "jacket" and always had to have it on.
The minute the pool would open he would run and jump in before anyone was in.
He always told us to "move" and never wanted us to catch him.
Oh what a big boy he thinks he is.

This was just one of the many times the cousins got together to swim at grandma's.
There is 16 grandkids now and they all have a blast with each other.
And this time there was no major melt down or fight.
Can't wait to see everyone again next year!

Red Robin and Little Mermaid...

On the last night the whole Wright clan was together Grandma and Grandpa took us all out to Red Robin for diner.
We were quiet the group, but we all had a wonderful time and the food was good.
Then all the girls were off to Tuacahn for The Little Mermaid.
It was so good!!! (well for what we saw)
They had to stop the show twice because of the rain.
After the second time of few of us headed home because it was so late.
Miss j. was a bit upset that she was not going to see Ariel in her wedding dress but she survived.
She carried that book around with her for the next week, going over and over the show.

The Main Street Splash Pad...

The day after we got back from Delta we packed up the kids, got some snow cones and headed down to Main Street.
The kids enjoyed running around everywhere, and the adults enjoyed a little conversation.
Wish we could be doing this now.

Cars 2...

We ended up taking Flubs to his FIRST movie.
Yes, it could only be Cars 2.
He did pretty good, but I think the first one is still better and more for little people.
As you can see by time the movie was over all he wanted to do was go home.
Afterwards we went to Marv's and he seemed much more satisfied with a full belly.

Swimming at Aunt Val's...

We went up to Aunt Val's and went swimming today.
The kids love her pool because half of it is only 2-3 feet deep.
She had it built that way just for the little people.
Alli j. and some of her Beckstrom cousins were there.
They all got along so good.
Flubs was a little attached to Brian...no surprise, and then the girls wanted in on part of the fun.

Swaddling...

Kenzie got to spend the morning with us and apparently Flubs need a little snuggling time with her.
He wanted Auntie Kenz to swaddle him up and just love on him.
We got a good laugh out of it, and a lot of lovin.
Kenz could hardly keep it together it was so funny.

Then of course Miss j. needed a little snuggle time.
I'll take it any day I can get it!

Pine Valley...

So after the shower we packed up the kids and headed to Pine Valley for Chanse's birthday dinner.
The weather up there was so nice, and just a bit chilly.
The kids had to wear jackets...crazy.
They ran around like wild dogs, swung on the swings and loved looking at the cows.
It was a nice break from the St. George summer sun.
Aunt Kenzie followed the kids around and snapped some shots for me.
I didn't have a fourth of the energy they did.

Jeanie's Shower...

Jeanie's shower was one of the first things we did when we got into SG.
Me and mom had been planning for awhile.
I think it turned out super cute!
We had a good amount of people come, and I think Jeanie is set for married life.
The party didn't start for the little people until baby Lola arrived.
Poor thing...they both couldn't keep their hands off her.
They love this little one so much.
Can't wait for ours to come.

Catching up...

So we made it to SG just fine and are doing so great!

The plane ride was good...although Flubs had to sit on my lap with my growing belly the whole time.

The plane was over booked.

Well now that I have a little extra time while the kids are playing with Nana and Papa I might be able to actually catch up on this thing.

We have a shower, wedding, soccer tournament, 4th of July, softball tournament, girlfriend time and a Lake Powell trip to fit into just four weeks.

So we will see how we do.

In the mean time this might get a little confusing considering I will be posting current events and trying to catch up on the last two months activities.

Yeah to summer!

First Day in St. George...

The kids were so thrilled to finally be in St. George.
This was the longest time they had gone without seeing anyone...five whole months.
It seriously felt like a year.
We got in Wednesday night, and the reunion at the airport was unforgettable.
That is always my favorite part of coming home...seeing the kids run and scream half way across the airport to meet Nana, Papa and an Auntie.
First thing Thursday all they wanted to do was play outside with their Nana.
It was absolute heaven!!
